US President Joe Biden is set to visit Germany from October 10th for a three-day trip, marking his first official bilateral visit to the country during his presidency.

This visit comes just months before he leaves office in January.

Biden aims to strengthen the transatlantic alliance and discuss key issues such as support for Ukraine against Russian aggression and NATO's role in Europe.

He is expected to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and visit the US Air Force base in Ramstein.

The visit underscores the renewed partnership between the US and Germany, which had been strained under former President Donald Trump.

Following his Germany visit, Biden will travel to Angola, fulfilling a long-promised trip to Africa.
