A 25-year-old police officer from Bonn is under investigation for allegedly leaking confidential information to the notorious "Mocro-Mafia," a network of drug gangs with roots in the Netherlands.

The officer is accused of accepting bribes in exchange for police secrets and obstructing justice.

The investigation, led by the Cologne prosecutor's office, was triggered by intercepted phone calls where a suspected drug logistics operator boasted about having a video with the officer.
