Daniela Klette, a former member of the Red Army Faction (RAF), has publicly spoken for the first time since her arrest in February.
Klette, who is currently in custody, denies allegations of attempted murder and accuses the state of "denunciation" and the media of "slander.
" She maintains that the accusations against her and her former RAF associates, Burkhard Garweg and Ernst-Volker Staub, are speculative and constructed by the authorities.
Klette, who was found living under a false identity in Berlin, claims her actions were part of a "liberation struggle" rooted in the revolutionary leftist history of Germany.
Despite the discovery of weapons and large sums of money in her possession, Klette insists that her motives were never driven by greed or violence.
The legal proceedings against her are expected to commence in the fall, while her alleged accomplices remain at large.
