On Christmas Eve, a fire broke out at the Vincentinum senior home near Munich's English Garden, leading to the evacuation of around 60 residents.
The blaze, which started in a resident's room, spread to the roof and a historic wooden clock tower, causing significant damage.
At least 15 people suffered minor injuries.
Over 120 firefighters and 60 rescue workers battled the flames, which continued to smolder into the evening.
Residents were temporarily relocated to unaffected areas of the building or nearby facilities.
Authorities advised locals to keep windows closed due to heavy smoke.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
