Germany's governing coalition parties have hit an all-time low in the latest RTL/ntv Trendbarometer poll.
The SPD, Greens, and FDP now collectively stand at just 30% support, their lowest combined rating ever recorded by Forsa.
The poll also reveals widespread dissatisfaction with the government's performance, with nearly 40% of respondents grading it as 'deficient' or 'insufficient'.
On average, the government received a disappointing grade of 4.2 on a scale of 1 to 6. In a hypothetical direct election for Chancellor, neither incumbent Olaf Scholz nor opposition leader Friedrich Merz garners significant support, with almost half of voters rejecting both candidates.
