With less than two weeks until Germany's Bundestag elections, Green Party candidate Robert Habeck has intensified his criticism of political rivals.
Speaking on ZDF, Habeck urged a firm rejection of right-wing populism, particularly the AfD, and criticized CDU leaders for failing to curb its influence.
He praised Schleswig-Holstein's CDU for keeping the AfD out of its state parliament through a different political approach.
Habeck also condemned recent cooperation between the CDU, FDP, and AfD on migration policies, warning it undermines European solidarity.
Confident in his campaign, Habeck highlighted the Greens' recovery to 15% in polls and reiterated his ambition to become chancellor, emphasizing the need for action and optimism in governance.
