German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economics Robert Habeck has filed over 700 reports of hate messages since April 2023, according to a report by "Welt.

" These reports, made through his ministry and parliamentary office, include specific threats of violence.

Habeck is collaborating with specialized law firms and the organization HateAid to address this issue.

Due to the rising threats, his security level has reportedly been increased.

Habeck stated that hate undermines political discourse and creates a climate of fear, warning that in a world filled with hate, no one will address problems or propose solutions.

He emphasized the need to combat this normalization of aggression against politicians, which has seen a significant rise in recent years.
