A devastating fire in an Osnabrück parking garage caused over one million euros in damages, destroying multiple vehicles and damaging the building.

The fire, reported by a taxi driver on the third level, was extinguished by firefighters, but not before significant destruction occurred.

Police have since arrested a 19-year-old suspect on charges of severe arson.

A judge has issued a warrant, and the suspect is now in custody.

Investigators are still searching for a motive and appealing for witnesses to come forward.
