Police in Germany have dismantled a suspected human trafficking ring in a major operation across six states.

Authorities conducted simultaneous raids on 29 locations, arresting ten individuals, including four key suspects accused of organized human trafficking, forced prostitution, and money laundering.

The suspects include a 57-year-old German and three Thai nationals.

Evidence, including six-figure cash sums, was seized.

Additionally, 18 individuals were found under suspicion of illegal residency, with five others arrested for harboring them.

North Rhine-Westphalia’s Interior Minister praised the operation, stating it ended the suffering of many victims and struck a significant blow against criminal networks.
