A widespread IT outage has caused significant disruptions worldwide, affecting airports, airlines, and various businesses.
The Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) suspended all flights until 10 AM due to technical issues, with reports suggesting server failures and emergency systems activation.
The problem appears to be linked to a global Microsoft cloud services outage, impacting Azure and Office 365. Major U.
S. airlines, including United, Delta, and American Airlines, have implemented a general flight ban.
The London Stock Exchange, McDonald's, and Sky News in the UK have also reported operational difficulties.
Microsoft has confirmed the disruptions, attributing them to a configuration error affecting many Microsoft 365 services globally.
