A pro-Palestinian demonstration in Berlin turned violent on Saturday, resulting in eight injuries, including one severe case.

The protest, which began peacefully with about 600 participants in Steglitz, was eventually disbanded by police due to repeated criminal chants.

Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and signs reading 'Free Palestine from Israel's Occupation.

' As police intervened, some protesters reportedly threw bottles.

Five injured individuals were taken to hospitals, mostly with minor injuries and circulation problems.

This incident is part of ongoing weekly demonstrations in Berlin related to the Gaza conflict since the Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023.
