In a significant crackdown, German authorities have arrested eight members of a suspected neo-Nazi terror group known as the 'Saxon Separatists.
' The group, allegedly linked to the far-right AfD party, planned to establish a Nazi-style state through violent means.
Among those arrested is Kurt H.
, an AfD politician, who was injured during his arrest.
The group, consisting of young right-wing extremists, had been preparing for a 'Day X' to seize control in Saxony and other regions.
Their ideology is rooted in racism and antisemitism, with plans for ethnic cleansing.
This operation highlights the persistent threat of right-wing extremism in Germany, as emphasized by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution.
