The Wahl-O-Mat, a popular digital tool for voters, will go live on February 6, 2025, ahead of Germany's federal election on February 23. Developed by the Federal Agency for Civic Education, it allows users to compare their political views with those of participating parties through 38 statements.
Users can prioritize key issues, and the tool calculates alignment with party positions.
This year, 41 parties are competing, including major players like SPD, CDU, and Greens, as well as smaller groups.
Alongside Wahl-O-Mat, other digital tools like Wahl.
chat and Real-O-Mat offer alternative ways to explore party policies, from financial plans to real voting records.
These platforms aim to make political decision-making more accessible and informed for voters.
