AfD Hits Record Poll Numbers

The Alternative for Germany (AfD) has reached a record 23.5% in the latest INSA poll, marking its highest-ever result.

This places the far-right party just 3.5 percentage points behind the CDU, which stands at 27%.

Without the CSU, the AfD would surpass the CDU, according to INSA chief Hermann Binkert.

The poll also revealed that the AfD's potential voter base could reach 30.5%.

Meanwhile, coalition talks between the CDU/CSU and SPD continue, with no clear majority emerging.

The Union has ruled out any coalition with the AfD, despite potential numerical feasibility.

The political landscape remains fragmented, with no single party or alliance commanding a decisive lead.
