Germany has delivered a significant weapons package to Ukraine just before Christmas.
The package includes 15 Leopard 1 A5 tanks, two Gepard anti-aircraft tanks, a Panzerhaubitze 2000, two Iris-T air defense systems, and two Patriot missile bases.
This aid comes as Ukraine faces intensified drone and missile attacks from Russia.
Germany also provided 65,000 rounds of ammunition for the Gepard tanks and air-to-air missiles for fighter jets.
This delivery is part of Germany's broader military support, totaling €28 billion, making it Ukraine's second-largest supporter after the U.
S. Ukrainian President Zelensky recently thanked German Chancellor Scholz for the continued assistance.
