Germany's First Legal Cannabis Club Launches

Published: 2024-11-02

In a groundbreaking move, the Cannabis Social Club in Ganderkesee, Germany, has become the first in the country to distribute legally grown cannabis to its members.

This follows the partial legalization of cannabis cultivation and distribution by clubs in Germany since July.

Michael Jaskulewicz, a member of the club, expressed his excitement upon receiving his portion, highlighting the safety and quality assurance provided by the club.

The club's chairman, Daniel Keune, emphasized that their members come from diverse backgrounds, ranging from 18 to 70 years old, and include both employees and entrepreneurs.

The initiative aims to promote health by ensuring the cannabis is free from harmful additives, contrasting with the risks of street-purchased cannabis.

The club also focuses on educating members about responsible consumption, with strict regulations in place to protect health and youth.

The club's success is evident, with over 1,000 people on the waiting list, eager to join this pioneering venture.
