In a landmark event, the Cannabis Social Club in Ganderkesee, Lower Saxony, has become the first in Germany to legally distribute cannabis to its members.
This follows the partial legalization of cannabis, allowing cultivation clubs to grow and distribute cannabis for personal use.
On Saturday, up to 100 pre-paid members will receive up to 25 grams each, marking a significant step away from the black market.
The club, which claims to be the first in Germany to conduct a legal cannabis harvest, highlights the progress made since the new regulations were introduced in July.
This initiative not only provides a legal avenue for cannabis consumption but also sets a precedent for other clubs in the country.
