German police conducted raids on 31 suspects' homes following a violent clash between football fans of Hansa Rostock and Rot-Weiss Essen.

The October 2024 incident involved masked attackers stopping a train carrying Essen fans and causing significant damage.

Investigators revealed the confrontation was prearranged, with 780 passengers, including families, on board.

During the raids, authorities found explosive devices, including two "Kugelbomben" and a training hand grenade, as well as weapons.

The attack caused €118,000 in damages, and police are investigating charges of severe breach of peace, assault, and endangering rail traffic.

Hansa Rostock has distanced itself from the violence, with officials calling for accountability.
