In recent days, protests have erupted in Germany following the closure of two mosques linked to the Islamic Center Hamburg (IZH), deemed an extremist organization by the government.
On July 26, over 200 Muslims gathered outside the Blue Mosque in Hamburg for prayers, lighting candles in defiance of the ban.
The IZH was labeled a significant propaganda center for Iran, leading to nationwide asset seizures.
Meanwhile, in Frankfurt, members of the Imam Ali Mosque protested outside their closed center, expressing disbelief over the lack of evidence for the closure.
Both communities are determined to continue their religious practices publicly until their mosques are reopened, highlighting the ongoing tensions surrounding religious freedom in Germany.
