Residents of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) can expect a mix of sunshine and cooler temperatures in the coming days.

According to the German Weather Service (DWD), Tuesday will see temperatures ranging from 25 to 28 degrees Celsius, with a blend of sun and clouds.

However, by evening, showers and possibly thunderstorms are expected to move in from the northwest.

Wednesday will bring a noticeable drop in temperatures, with highs between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius and a partly cloudy sky.

There is a slight chance of isolated showers in the northern regions.

The cooler spell will be short-lived, as temperatures are set to rise again from Thursday, reaching up to 26 degrees Celsius with mostly sunny and dry conditions.

The warm weather is expected to continue into the weekend, maintaining a summer-like atmosphere with occasional clouds and isolated showers.
