Fridays for Future is mobilizing for a global climate strike this Friday, with demonstrations planned in over 100 locations across Germany.
The movement is urging a swift transition away from coal, oil, and gas, and an end to investments in fossil fuels.
Major cities like Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich, as well as smaller towns such as Wiesloch and Amberg, will see protests.
The initiative, under the banner #NowForFuture, is supported by organizations like Greenpeace and WWF.
In Hamburg, organizers expect around 18,000 participants, a significant increase from previous events.
The global strike will also see actions in places as diverse as the Arctic, Egypt, and Bangladesh, highlighting the worldwide call for urgent climate action.
