Thousands of climate activists from the Fridays for Future movement took to the streets across Germany, demanding stronger climate action.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, major demonstrations were held in cities like Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Dortmund, with participants calling for car-free city centers and expanded public transport.

The protests were part of a global climate strike, with events planned in over 100 German cities, including Munich, where around 2,600 people gathered.

Activists emphasized the need to halt investments in fossil fuels and criticized current migration policies.
