Police in Saarland are investigating Austrian far-right extremist Martin Sellner for allegedly making a Nazi salute during a protest against his book reading in Saarbrücken.

Sellner, a prominent figure in the Identitarian Movement, was filmed promoting his book "Remigration" provocatively at the demonstration organized by the group "Omas gegen Rechts.

" Following the incident, a participant filed a complaint, leading to an investigation for using symbols of unconstitutional organizations.

This comes after Sellner faced a temporary ban on entering Germany earlier this year due to his extremist activities.
