A severe storm has hit Nordhausen, causing significant flooding and road closures.
Heavy rainfall led to the inundation of numerous streets and basements, prompting emergency services to respond to multiple incidents.
According to the German Weather Service, over 100 liters of rain fell per square meter in less than twelve hours.
Key roads, including L1038 in Petersdorf, are covered in mud and debris, making them impassable.
Other affected areas include Bielener Straße, Parkalle, and Leimbacher Straße, all of which have been closed due to flooding.
The Helmestraße was also shut down for two and a half hours due to water accumulation.
