Parts of Germany, especially Bavaria, are experiencing severe weather conditions.

The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued warnings for heavy thunderstorms, strong winds, and potential flooding.

In southern Bavaria and the Bavarian Forest, there's an increased risk of severe storms with heavy rainfall, hurricane-force winds up to 115 km/h, and hail.

Franconia and the Alpine foothills are facing strong to gale-force winds, with speeds up to 87 km/h already recorded in Middle Franconia.

The DWD also predicts persistent rain from the Alps to Lower Bavaria until Sunday evening, with some areas at risk of flooding.
