Around 5,000 pilgrims participated in the 172nd annual pilgrimage from Osnabrück to Telgte, covering over 45 kilometers.
The journey began early Saturday morning, with pilgrims setting off at 3 AM after attending mass.
Led by the theme 'Go with us,' participants walked and cycled through the countryside, singing and praying along the way.
The pilgrims arrived in Telgte around 3:30 PM, where they were welcomed by the Bishop of Münster and the former Bishop of Osnabrück.
Despite some rain, spirits remained high throughout the journey.
The event, which dates back to 1852, resumed this year after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
