Germany is set to experience a short but intense heatwave, with temperatures peaking at 35°C (95°F) on Saturday.
The German Weather Service predicts that many areas will surpass 30°C (86°F) in the coming days, perfect for sun-seekers heading to pools and lakes.
However, the scorching weather won't last long.
Thunderstorms are expected to roll in on Sunday, bringing a significant cool-down.
By Monday, temperatures will struggle to reach 25°C (77°F), with some areas in the north barely hitting 20°C (68°F).
This unusual weather pattern marks a premature taste of autumn in the midst of summer, with nighttime temperatures potentially dropping below 10°C (50°F) by mid-next week.
