The week kicks off with severe thunderstorms in parts of Bavaria, particularly affecting regions like Swabia, Upper Bavaria, and Middle Franconia.

According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the high-pressure system that has been influencing the weather is moving towards the Barents Sea, making way for very warm and increasingly humid air.

This shift has prompted warnings of heavy rain and hailstorms.

While Monday is expected to be stormy, Tuesday might bring a mix of warm sunshine and isolated showers or thunderstorms, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
